21世紀の企業にとって、「認知的多様性（Cognitive Diversity）」は、もはや倫理的理想ではなく、経営上の戦略的資産です。 本トークセッションでは、人間の知覚を拡張するテクノロジーを追求するメディアアーティスト・落合陽一氏と、 MITメディアラボの元所長として世界的な研究機関でイノベーションを推進してきた伊藤穰一氏をお迎えし、 ニューロダイバーシティ・パラダイムの未来と実践について議論します。

なぜ今、日本の企業は「ニューロインクルーシブ」に取り組むべきなのか？ 視点の同質性が重大な失敗を招いた実例として、9.11アメリカ同時多発テロ前のCIA・FBIの組織的盲点があります。 この悲劇的失敗を調査した9.11委員会が下した結論は、「想像力の欠如（Failure of Imagination）」。 これは一個人の怠慢ではなく、同質的な思考様式に閉ざされた組織構造そのものによるものでした。

For 21st-century companies, "Cognitive Diversity" is no longer an ethical ideal but a strategic business asset. In this talk session, we welcome Yoichi Ochiai, a media artist pursuing technology to expand human perception, and Joi Ito, who has driven innovation at a global research institution as the former director of MIT Media Lab, to discuss the future and practice of the neurodiversity paradigm.

Why should Japanese companies now focus on "Neuro-inclusive" approaches? As an example of how homogeneous perspectives can lead to critical failures, consider the organizational blind spots of the CIA and FBI before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The conclusion reached by the 9/11 Commission investigating this tragic failure was "Failure of Imagination." This was not due to individual negligence but to organizational structures closed off to homogeneous thinking patterns.
